Temperature Scales
Celsius & Fahrenheit:
Tf = 1.8Tc + 32
Example:
29 °C ⇢ Tf = 1.8 × 29 °C + 32 = 84.2 °F
Tc = (Tf − 32) / 1.8
Kelvin & Celsius:
K = (°C + 273.15)
Example: 10 °C + 273.15 = 283.15 K
°C = (K − 273.15)
Example: 10 K − 273.15 = −263.15 °C
Kelvin & Fahrenheit:
Tk = (Tf + 459.76) / 1.8
Homologous temperature
TH = T / Tm
(homologous temperature = temperature / melting temperature)
