Wheatstone bridge
- A wheatstone bridge is used to measure resistances:
R1/R2 = R3/R4
- Use V = IR to find current/voltage:
Current through R1 and R2 is: Ileft = (Vs) / (R1 + R2)
So Vleft is: Vleft = Ileft × R2
Current through R3 and R4 is: Iright = (Vs) / (R3 + R4)
So Vright is: Vright = Iright × R4
