Relationship between Voltage (Amplitude) and Decibels:
dB = 20·log( Vout / Vin )
[Note: If you know the value for dB on the left hand side of the equation, you can solve to find the value of the ratio on the right.
Relationship between Power and Decibels:
dB = 10·log( P / P0 )
