In the circuit, the following pins were connected to ground to give a logic 0, and eliminate floating connections:
- 1Q’ (JK1)
- 2Q’ (JK2)
- D Input (XOR3)
- Both set (PRE) pins
- Both reset (CLR) pins
The following pins were connected to the supply rail to give a logic 1:
- 2B (XOR2)
In the project, the automated clock input was replaced by a push button switch connected to the supply rail.
The oscilloscope is connected between the clock output and the ground rail, and displays the clock pulse as a square non-periodic voltage signal.
