Exponential Function: f(x) = aekx + b
For the exponential function:
f(x) = aekx + b
a = the starting value of the function when x is equal to zero. Also the y intercept when b is equl to zero.
e = the number e.
k = if k > 0, the function represents exponential growth with a continuous growth rate of k. If k < 0, the function represents exponential decay with a continuous decay rate of k.
x = the ‘x’ value.
b = the y-intercept.
